client access 5.2 installed on windows 98

I will install a client access 5.2 on WINDOWS 98 , Can i do it ?

    I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't do it because it is impossible to secure, among other reasons, but according to:

    ...Win98 meets iSeries Access V5R2 minimum requirements.

    CA 5.2 will run on WIN98. I would however recommend moving to WIN2k or XP.

    I have a customer running cav5r2 on Win98, but I would not recommend it.
    Win98 PCs tend to be older machines with performance problems; client access will worsen those problems.
    Install only the components of client access that you need.
    If you only need 5250 display emulation, consider using Mochasoft TN5250 which has a small footprint and will perform better in this situation. Check it out at:
