Sharepoint 2007 set homepage hyperlink

I want to add a "set this site as your homepage" link in Sharepoint 2007.  When using javascript, it wants the code in the html body tag.  How to is the same task accomplished in Sharepoint 2007.  I am looking at the code view of the page in Sharepoint Designer and don't even know where to begin.  Is it possible to put the link in a web part?  All user's have IE 7.

The only way I can think of to do this, would be to use a content editor web part, and in the source editor paste this text:

<a href="#"
onClick="this.style.behavior='url(#default#homepage)';
this.setHomePage('http://website);">Set as Homepage
</a>

Remembering to substitute the http://website for the address you choose. I have tested this and it works.

Here's an example with some formatting:

<font face="arial" size="4"><b><a href="#"
onClick="this.style.behavior='url(#default#homepage)';
this.setHomePage('http://website');">Set as Homepage
</a></b></font>

I also managed to add this to the body of the page, by selecting a space in the main part of the page underneath the web parts in SharePoint Designer, and pasting the code above in.

Worked fine.
