Convert # of days to date

I am pulling the following string of numbers from an xml file, 14405.  To get the correct date I have to add 24837 (so I am converting 14405 to an int with Int32.Parse() and adding 24837 to get 39234).  The full value of 39234 represents 6/1/2007.  I can not figure out how to get 39234 to display as 6/1/2007 in c# at all.  Anyone else got some ideas?
