displayed on page automatically.i didnot know how to start either.
comparing the active directory for the past day is ok.
please help me with some c# or Vb.net code if anyone came accross such type of situation.

thanks

I guess that it's impossible to create some kind of watch, that will trigger an event to your website to refresh the data. Is it that important that it refreshes the data automatically ? Is the data shown all day or is the data displayed when the user goes to that page ?

Perhaps you could take a look at this code
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/jodonnell/ListingADUsers07022005005138AM/ListingADUsers.aspx

If you got all the users in a list, dataset, ... you can easily write it into a textfile
