We are currently running Exchange 2000 and running AD 2000. I am looking at migrating our AD to 2003 and am wondering if this will affect Exchange at all. Can Exchange operate in a 2003 domain? Do I need to do anything special to migrate from a 2000 to a 2003 domain?

    Accepted Solution

    Yes it can operate there.

All you need to do for the upgrade is run the ADPrep Forest Prep and Domain Prep for 2003 from the 2003 CD prior to installing a 2003 Domain Controller. See this for instructions:
