HP Network Card Teaming Problems

I just got a new HP DL380 G5 running WIndows 2003 Enterprise Edition 32-bit. I setup the HP Network configuration Utility to team my network cards and all was working well. Then all of a sudden my server showed that all network connections were disconnect. I tried differnt switches, reboot etc... Please note all switches were working fine and their weren't any other network issues. Anyway I finally disolved my network team and my network connectin was restored. This is a fresh install. All of the HP software came from the HP Smart Start CD v7.8. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before???

1) I would update all the network and NIC related software from the HP site.

2) CHeck the HP site for known issues. I know that similar things have happened in the past.

3) Check your event logs for hints.

I hope this helps !
i once had this because the nic card drivers was not the latest one then i installed it and then installed the teaming software and it works like charm..

Hope this helps
Was iSCSI or PXE boot enabled on one of the ports? There is new firmware out for the onboard broadcom that isn't on the latest firmware CD, come to that the latest firmware for the iLO2 and P400 isn't on it either.
