Hello, I've got a job in my Job setup with nothing attached to it - its been sitting there for years doing nothing, my problem is I can't delete it - Veritas lets me delete it, but the job simply doesn't delete.

Any ideas, I'm using Veritas Backupexec 9.1?

           Hi ajdanhammond
Make sure job is not running. After deleting, try restarting backup exec service in services.msc

    Accepted Solution

you will need to edit the backup exec database to delete the entry for the job.
if you are comfortable with SQL you can do it yrself(pretty easy)
otherwise just live it as 9.1 has reached its end of support and you will have limited support if you have a contract with Symantec and that will not entitle you to send the DataBase to Sym for editing.
