Hello,
I've loaded the MERANT Progress Drive 4.0 on my SQL Server (2005). The SQL Server is in a clustered environment. I set up a data source and the connection is successful when I use the "Test Connection" button.  However, when I try to create a linked server I get
***********************
"The linked server has been created but failed a connection test. Do you want to keep the linked server?"

An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)

Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "VANTAGE52".
OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "VANTAGE52" returned message "Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error  126 (DataDirect 4.0 Progress).". (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 7303)

The reason I think it's a SQL Server problem, is because I have a local copy of SQL Server 2005 with the same driver and the same linked server works fine.
Thanks for any help.
