You could use QtParted which is included on most Linux LiveCD's, of which my favourite is knoppix:

Is it a part of Solaris or do I need to boot with a linux disc? If I boot with a linux disk will Solaris have any errors?

    Accepted Solution

It is a Linux LiveCD you boot with. Solaris and Linux use the same file systems, so there shouldn't be any errors.
