anchor link works in IE6 and IE7, but not in Firefox

Hi,
I have an anchor link on a page which works in IE6 and IE7, but doesn't work in Firefox or Safari.
Here's what my code looks like:

<div class="tab_anchor"><a href="#uysr">Understanding Your Score Report</a></div>

And, further down the page,
here's anchor:
<a name="uysr"></a>
<h3 class="whiteborder">UNDERSTANDING YOUR SCORE REPORT</h3>

Any ideas? If you need more code or more information, please let me know.
Thanks for your help! :)
-Ron.

that should work.

does firefox do anything at all?

also, try using id instead of name.  in page anchor tags should work with both, but it'd be interesting to see if your results were different with id.

Try wrapping the a tags around the text "UNDERSTANDING YOUR SCORE REPORT". Possibly your empty element is causing Firefox to think that there's nowhere to jump to.

Also, I believe that you can add an id attribute to the h3 element, and have the hyperlink jump to that, without creating an a element.

Can you give me an example of how to write the code?  I want to be sure I write it correctly...thanks!

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I forgot to mention, that in Firefox, when I click on the anchor link, the anchor link itself is recognized as the link.  In other words, when I click on:
<div class="tab_anchor"><a href="#uysr">Understanding Your Score Report</a></div>

The page just moves this link to the top of the browser window.   It doesn't go to this:
<a name="uysr"></a>
<h3 class="whiteborder">UNDERSTANDING YOUR SCORE REPORT</h3>

<a id="uysr"></a>
<h3 class="whiteborder">UNDERSTANDING YOUR SCORE REPORT</h3>

see what that does.

do you have a live example somewhere, so I can see the problem in it's full context?

Thanks.
