Appears that modem is not completely disconnecting when ATH (hangup) command is issued. Check with customer and see what other devices are connected to phone lines. Also have them check to see if there is a dial tone on phones after ending modem session and prior to reboot.<br />

We have a client on dialup. &nbsp;When her computer is here in our shop, it will dial the connection over and over again. &nbsp;When she gets it back home, it will dial up once...and not again until she restarts the machine. &nbsp;We have changed out the modem three times, and each one had a different chipset. &nbsp;Scratching our heads. &nbsp;All ideas are welcome. &nbsp;

Modem only dials once, and won't dial again until restart
