hi there,
how can i write to lines in a formula?
Fo instance:

Home delivery in one line
Products to be delivery on a second line

all this has to be one one text object.
Can this be done?

if this would be programatically it will be something like this "Home delivery in one line " & vbCrLf & "Products to be delivery on a second line" but Crystal Report does not allow vbCrLf .

How can i do this?

I'm not completely understanding your question.

But if you want to print on ONE single row line in your report something DIFFERENT based on some kind of criteria...then you just need to write that logic into the formula.

    Something like this:

If (some criteria met) then "This text"
if (another criteria met) then "This next text"
    (This default text)

Does this make sense...or am I misunderstanding your needs?

    Accepted Solution

If you want to force a new line in a formula, you can use chr(13):

"Home delivery" & chr(13) & "Products to be delivery"

Mke sure you also right click the fiormula after you add it to the report, choose Format Field, and then set the Can Grow property under the Common tab so that it showws the extra lines.
