We built a few new Win2000 boxes on a new subnet.  Since there was no
>TS license server on this segment, I added the following registry entry on
>each box to point to a server with the service running on another subnet:
>"Servername" is pingable from the new boxes, but I am still getting errors
>in the event log saying that no TS licensing server can be found.

    Accepted Solution

That key is NT-only, see ("UseLicenseServer Registry Key Is Not Used By Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, or Windows XP"). Use the method described in  ("Set preferred Terminal Server license servers") instead.
