Uninstall corrupted Trend Micro

Clients computer became very infected...
Trend Micro PC Cilling Internet Security 2006 installed...
TM was not in task bar...I could not get it open...
Tried to uninstall TM, no joy...I tried to re-install TM and would not install unless I uninstalled the old version...
So I am assuming whatever infected the computer corrupted Trend Micro...

Disabbled  the 4 TM services, installed Kaspersky and AVG antispyware, between the 2 I found some 200 infections...some viurese but mostly malware stuff...

Still could not either uninstall the old version of TM or reinstall the same copy of TM...

Deleted the TM folders in Program files, and worked my way thru the registry deleting any and all references to TM that I could find...about 75 entries or so...
There were about a dozen registry entries for TM that would not let me delete them...

So...betwen a rock and hard place...cannot get Trend Micro off, nor get it on...Could leave it there and
let Kaspersky and AVG do it's thing, but KAS is the trial version and client has a paid for TM, which he would rather use...

So...not sure what to do next...but trying to avoid a rebuild...but that might be the only way out...

Suggestions???
Thanx
Steve

Folsk...sorry I took so long to reply and give points...

Neither suggestion worked...the TM tool wouldn;t work and Ithink because the tool is for 2005 version and I was working with a 2006 version...

The snapfiles and msoft didn;t help either...

And this could be because I had deleted a lot of files and cleand much of the TM stuff out of the registry that the tool could not work...

At any rate I rebuilt from scratch...working fine...

Splitting the points...good ideas and you waited a long time for me to get my act together...

Thanx

No problem on the time. Thanks for the update and glad things are better!
For anyone who may be interested, I recently had a problem with removing TM but after booting into safe mode I was able to remove it.
