Hi Experts,

How do I get the name of the previously active control in vb.net. The cursor is in textbox1 Form2, I select a menu Item that requires the name of the control the cursor was in prior to clicking the menu?  Multiple forms are open!

Regards,
Joe

Hi, you can store the last control to a temporary variable within each control's Leave event
