Router for small home network VPN and RDP for 2 PCs

I want to increase security on my small home network. Basically the dsl modem goes to the swith were I connect 2 pcs for internet access. My work requires to daily basis connect RDP to each computer. Unfortunatly I can only connect to 1 pc because Bellsouth ip passthroug only 1.

To solve this I need to install a router after the DSL modem and before the switch  to firewall and assign local Ips and open ports for outside connection. Besides this I want to make the connection safely by VPN.

Which router should I buy?

Thanks

See the ones I know are enterprise standard firewalls which cost you around 700$. But I think you're not looking for something like that ?

I read the spec and seems like it is a good device to bet on. Especially you could plug your home machines directly on it and remove the switch you have now.

Just make sure that from the place you'll be connecting to does allow iPSEC tunnels to go out.

Cheers,
Rajesh
