Airport no longer working - MAC OS  X - 10.4.10

Using Mac OS X - 10.4.10.  Airport stopped picking up my (or any) wireless network.  The icon at the top-right (beside the clock) just shows an arrow point up, but no error message.  Any ideas?

    Open System Preferences, go to the Sharing section and go to the Internet tab. Turn "Internet Sharing" off. The arrow on the wireless icon indicates that you are sharing your internet connection through your wireless interface, making it unavailable for an internet connection itself.
