How to connect with Oracle Server on VB.NET using IDbCommand ?

Hi all,

i will have to work with Oracle database with VB.NET

i use IDbConnection, IDbCommand and IDbDataAdapter to connect with all MSSQL and MSACCESS database without any problem
but will the command will work with Oracle server? or will i have to create ODBC link? or something like that?

i don't have any oracle server installed yet... so i cannot test....

please help me,

    With VB.NET you can you the System.Data.OracleClient. I think that's the easy and the best way.

    Yes i know that oracleconnection is the best way as the sqlconnection is the best way to connect with sql server but in our enterprise, we have to use idbcommand, idbconnection and don't you think is possible or i have to use oracleconnection (no other way...)
