Moving AD domain from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Small Business Server 2003

I have a Windows Server 2003 (SP2) as PDC. I bought a new Server with Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 (SP2). As far as I know the SBS has to be PDC to use the Exchange feature, is this true? How can I move the AD from the old Server to the new? I want to use the old as File-/Backupserver, without reinstall...

    I would STRONGLY suggest that you don't follow KB884453!  It's not a migration method.  You really should just install SBS according to it's documentation ( and  You don't need to reinstall the old server, just DCPROMO it out of it's domain into a workgroup and then join it ot the new SBS domain (again following documentation found at
