My boss has come to me with a request and I am not sure how I can do this....

I need a list of email addresses off our Exchange servers, but I need it to only be the addresses that contain a legitimate user id as an alias. If you could provide the file in a CSV file or a fixed length text file it would be most helpful.

Any ideas?

On the exchange server, or a windows XP machine with exchange admin tools installed...do the following.

Open: Start > Programs >Microsoft Exchange > Active Directory
Click on "View"....and select "Add/Remove Columns"
Select "Exchange Alias"...click "Add"
Now navigate to the OU that contains your users...
Right click on the OU, and choose Export.  Save the file....and open the file in excel.
