Using the Setup & Deploy Application Project, how do I Add Shortcuts to the Start Menu & Desktop (vb.net 2005)
I am using the vb.net 2005 builtin Setup & Deploy Application Project. I've added it to my other project. So far I've read quite a bit of documentation on this, and I understand none of what I've read. The documentation by Microsoft is not very good..
Anyways, there are two things I'd like to do. I'd like to install two dbs in a specific place, perhaps along with the application, (that'd be fine).
Secondly, I'd like to add a shortcut to my application to the desktop, and one to the start menu. How do I do this?
Thanks Experts! ~Michael

Actually I didn't know you could have it remove previous versions, that's kinda cool. Also, I was unaware you could set the application folder to autocreate, which is neat too. That way the user hopefully won't get the option to place it elsewhere. My program will run better if it's in a known location..
Ok, I've read through this guide now. It's awesome. Thank you! ~Michael
