I have a user running IE6 who is having issues accessing some sites.  The one's I know of are www.hotmail.com and some of the banking sites he uses on a daily basis.
There is nothing we have introduced that should stop him having access to these sites and they are accessible through the PC's on the same site all using the same gateway and dns servers.

I did ipconfig /flushdns  and /registerdns.  I've cleared his temp internet files, I'm not sure where to go from here.

Any help would be great.

Greetings edwalters !

Hotmail is a secure site for login.  Banking sites are secure sites.  Check if you have issues with secure logins.

Not that didn't do it completely, I can now see Hotmail but cannot access Https sites.  I've done all the MS troubleshooting regarding SSL and TLS in the advanced tab without any success.

If you have not done so, delete your cookies files and temporary internet files.  Make sure cookies are enabled. Many websites require session cookies to work.

Yes none of the obvious worked.  I've been through many solutions suggested by many forums and MS articles, I've even downloaded a MS Hotfix.  In the end I downloaded FireFox and he uses that to access the secure sites.
I tried to update IE6 to IE7 but it wouldn't let me do that.
How do you close a call on here when there hasn't been a solution?
