Is there an equivalent to Oracle Packages in SQL Server 2000/2005?

    No, there is no concept of packages in SQL Server

    can anyone suggest an alternative on achieving this!

    the only thing I can suggest is to create 1 schema per list of procedures you would like to "group" / "package".
    there is nothing else closer to the concept of package in ms sql server
