Any way to rename the software that are there in Add/remove programs

I want to rename some specific software in Add/remove programs.Is there a way to do it.

    Open the registry..
    navigate to HKclasses_Root\Installer\Products

    highlight any key under the Products. On the Right Pane u should see a Value "ProductName" which has a REG_SZ type data ..

    Double cick the value to change it to anything u want..

    I renamed the "safari" browser to "Safari-renamed"

    Now Add/remove lists this tool as Safari Renamed
