Outlook 2007 problem with send and receive (No Permission to perform.....)

I am running Outlook 2007 on Windows XP latest release and fully patched.

Suddenly I am getting the following message while hitting send and receive "You don't have the appropriate permissions to perform this operation".

Note: I have also Thunderbird as an other mail client running on this PC to hold archive EMAILS.

Does this cause the problem. Outlook 2007 should be used as the primary email client and it is set this way in the internet explorer settings.

Any idea?

It worked fine this morning (BTW- I have restarted the computed a couple of times already and ran Spybot Search & Destroy).
