Balance Networking on two servers

I have two servers one is called sw1 the other is sw2, I need to download images to some pc's but I need balance both servers, then I create a dns name called sw pointing to sw1 and sw2,
If I ping sw.testing.com or just sw it replies 100% but if I want to connect by DOS in order to download software I cannot connect when I use
net use m: \\sw.testing.com /data \user:D600@testing.com D600
It fail with the follow error:

System Error 53 has occurred.

You were not connected because a duplicate name exist on the network. if  joining a domain, go to system in control panel to change the computer name and try again. if joining a workgroup, choose another workgroup name.

If I find over Windows 2000 it said duplicate name exist on the network

Please help me on determine what can I do in order to balance my two servers.
Please also copy to cmoreno@elitegroupmx.com the answer
Best regards

I'm using the follow command line
 NET USE M: \\SW.TESTING.COM\DATA /USER:D600@TESTING.COM D600

So if you say:

NET USE M: \\SW.TESTING.COM\DATA

You get Error 67?

But, then you say:

NET USE M: \\SW.TESTING.COM\DATA /USER:D600@TESTING.COM D600

You get Error 53?

Have you tried to use the netbios name:

NET USE M: \\"netbios name"\DATA /USER:DOMAINNAME\"username" D600

I don't think that msdos can handle name like sw.testing.com

Yes I got 53 under DOS under Windows it's 67, I tried without user, after it ask username and passwrod it fails again, I'm also tried with netbios name and get same error.

it works well if I connect direct to the server like
NET USE M: \\SW1.TESTING.COM\DATA /USER:D600@TESTING.COM D600
NET USE M: \\SW2.TESTING.COM\DATA /USER:D600@TESTING.COM D600

But I want to use just one name to redirect to both servers that's when it fail when I try to sw because sw is not a server it's just a host redirected to sw1 and sw2

On both machines, create and set the REG_DWORD value "DisableStrictNameChecking" in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters, reboot, try again.
Connecting to SMB share on a Windows 2000-based computer or a Windows Server 2003-based computer may not work with an alias name

I cannot do this because I need to do it under DOS, there will be many computers doing this function

Then run this command on the machines you want to load balance:

reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters" /v "DisableStrictNameChecking" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
