Sonicwall Pro 2040 Port redirection

I have a Sonicwall Pro 2040 Firewall and need to do port redirection (ie. SMTP port 25 > 26) Does anyone know if this is possible on a Sonicwall Pro 2040?

Have you tried the NAT Policies' Public Server Wizard?

There might be a step or two I'm missing... I am not trying this out on a running system - but let me know if this works out for you.

1. Go to the Network tab
2. Click on the NAT Policies folder
3. On the top right corner, click on Public Server Wizard - You will see a pop-up window. Click Next.
4. In the pop-up window - select 'Mail Server' from the drop-down list of Server Types.
5. Un-check POP3 and IMAP; Check SMTP
6. Click Next.
7. Type in the private IP address of the server and name it, click Next.
8. Verify that the public IP address is correct, if not - Fix. Click Next.
9. Read and Verify that everything is OK - then click Apply. Verify that rules were added.
10. Edit your added rules, by clicking the pen-and-paper icon on the right of the rules.
11. Where it says 'Translated Service' - select 'create a new service'. Another pop-up window will show up.
12. Add a custom service for TCP Port 26 - name it CustomSMTP. Click OK. Click OK in the parent pop-up window.
13. Test your NAT

Thanks and Regards,

Well, I have a simliar situation. I have a Sonicwall Pro 2040 Firewall with Standard OS and need to redirect port 1433 to another port, preferrably a high port (what high port is recommended).

Does anyone know if this is possible on a Sonicwall Pro 2040 w/ Standard OS?

The above solution did not work for me as our SonicWall does not have the Nat Policies.

Thanks...
