Well there are two general catogories, physics books, and "Physics for Poets" kinds of books.

The first kind will have, gulp, MATH, like F = ma

the second kind will have, words, like "when you drop your ipod it will start off slow, then speed up".

So figure out if your sister can handle math and choose the book accordingly.

BTW that "QED" book is excellent, but probably a bit advanced in the sense that it explains a underlying theory of EVERYTHING.
