SPARC Hardware training

Hi Guys,

I'd like to know if the following Sun Exams are available to the general public:

310-880 - SUN Certified Senior Systems Support Engineer
310-878 - SUN Certified Field Engineer

I've done a few Solaris exams, but I've realized that I need to be skilled on the hardware side of things as well.

Some people I spoke to seem to think that SPARC hardware training (and exams) are only available to employees of SUN.

Does anybody know if this is the case?

Also, is there an avenue available for me to study for these exams and write them?

Thank you.
