    Accepted Solution

YES .. you can .. BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM!!!

The OSX Server version sale from Apple

    Is only for G4 & G5 processors
The Intel version is only sold in conjunction with new XServe boxes .. stupid I know but that is the way it is.
The forthcoming (October 2007) release of 10.5 will definitely be an Intel version so you've 2 choices

    1. Find someone with an XServe Intel and "borrow" their DVDs ... .
    2. Wait until October and buy 10.5 Server version for Intel
