I have are remote desktop session to another office in another country that is not part of the same domain.
I need to be able to cut/copy files from my XP workstation and paste it to the remote Win2K3 server.
I can use the clip board for URL, but files don't want to work.

I have read the following links without finding a solution.

Is there some policy blocking this functionallity?

I am using rdp 6.0 on both machines.
Clipboard is checked in the options of each machine.

You need to connect the local drives to the remote computer, and then cut and past within "My Computer" on the remote machine.
When you start the remote Conection client, before connecting choose; Options | Local Resources | More | and your local drive/s you want to connect. Then connect to the remote computer as you normally would. Assuming for example you choose the D: drive on your local computer named PC1, now when you look in My Computer on the remote machine, there will also be "D on PC1. You can cut and paste to that.
