Is there a way I can search through exchange 2000 and 2003 for past emails?  I don't want to have to go through each persons mailbox to find this respective email.

I need to search by a received name/email address

is this possible?

are you looking for a message still in a mailbox?

You can use Exmerge to search every db on your servers for subjetcts, dates, etc..... and even have it delete all messages with X in the subject etc...
