"Freezing Panes" in Report Services Report

Hi there!

I have a report I have created in BI Development studio for my Reporting Services.  The report is very long (across) and would like the first two fields to be "frozen" and when you scroll to the right the first two fields stay fixed.  Is there a way to do this?

I found the option to make the header row stay if you scroll veritically... but was wondering if there is an option to horizontally.

check out FixedHeader property for the column.

Thank you for the suggestion...but I'm not talking about the headers (as I said in the first post) ... I'm talking about freezing row data.  But I did find the solution a while ago. :)

    Accepted Solution

I'm glad you found a solution a while ago :)   For those who venture to this area  another solution is setting FixedHeader to True   which "indicates this column should be displayed on the page even when the user scrolls part of the table off the page." from the tool tip on the properties page.. :)  Horizontal movement, left to right/right to left.
