Hi, I am working with a coldfusion table. ( First row has no columns.  Second row has the three columns).
In my table, there are three columns.  As records are being added to the database, an additional row is being added.  I now have some 30 rows and would like to have a scroll bar in the table.  Now, I'm not sure if I can do that because of the columns.  If I cannot, how would I specify the layout of a row.
I need some guide with the syntax.
Thanks.

Is this what you are looking for?

I also thought you could use a iframe if you want... then you can create the table on a different page and view it through a iframe tag

Well here is some code... maybe what you are looking for?

<html>

<head>

<title>table with scroll</title>

<style type="text/css"><!--
DIV{
  text-align : left;
  padding : 5px;
  width : 100%;
  height : 4em;
  overflow: auto;
}
-->
</style>

</head>

<body>

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="1">
  <thead>
    <tr>
      <th>stuff in the thead</th>
    </tr>
  </thead>
  <tfoot>
    <tr>
      <th>stuff in the tfoot</th>
    </tr>
  </tfoot>
  <tbody>
    <tr>
      <td>
      <div>scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      scroll stuff in the tbody<br>
      </div>
      </td>
    </tr>
  </tbody>
</table>
</body>
</html>
