I have a clien that is running WIndows Vista.  The Windows Firewall is Off.  When I go to the Security Center, I see the Mcafee firewall still ON.  I cannot find Mcafee anywhere under program files or Uninstall programs.  I removed all references to Mcafee in Regedit.  I think this is what preventing me from connecting to a VPN.
How do I completely remove Mcafee from Windows Vista.

A friend have fixed a problem similar to your by downloading the trial of the McAfee personal firewall from www.download.com, then he uninstalled it and solved the problem.

He was using Windows XP, but i think that this works on Vista too.
