    Accepted Solution

java Petstore is a j2ee application

Here is a older version of petstore which run with

           1. Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition (J2SETM SDK), v1.4.1 or higher

          2. Java 2 SDK, Enterprise Edition (J2EETM SDK), v1.3.1

    check this link

if you want to try the new petstore 2.0 you need to have JDK 5 or higher and JEE5.
