calender and emails not showing after defrag

hi everyone,

i have defrag my edb and stm file to an external drive as i didnt had the 110% free space, but when i copt the file back to original location and mounted the stores some of the people are missing there calenders and some are saying they dont have emails but when i check in EMS i can see they have thousands of emails, what can i do you please

the command i used was
eseutil /d d:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb /ty:\tempdfg.edb

Hi again,

Sorry things have not gone smoothly for you. You are using Exchange 2003 aren't you? If so I would use a recovery storage group to restore the pre-defrag version of the database that you saved earlier and then use exmerge to export one of the users that is having issues to a PST file and then compare the PST file data with what they have in the current mailbox store. If anyone else has any ideas please chime in.

is there anything else i can do as i can see all the emails in EMS and some people can see it
Can you view the e-mails via OWA for the users for example can you when logged on as the user goto http://exchangeservername/exchange?

If you can then you have a view, filter or maybe some kind of rule issue in Outlook.

no i cant but i have solved the problem thank for your help i have installed the new drives and moved the  old database to the new drive and it worked fine.
