WIN 2K Access Denied

I have a Server 2000 and I am logged in as the admin.

There are files in a directory (looks to be a copy of an old users harddisk) that when I attempt to delete it states access denied.

How can I delete these items?

    First take the ownership of te files, then change permissions and then you can delete them.
