I have a domain that was started many years ago under a Windows Server 2000 enviroment.<br />
the domain was called corporate.domain.com<br />
I would love to drop the corporate off of the domain, and have it just domain.com<br />
my mail system and several other things would work much better this way.<br />
Is there a way to do this? &nbsp;If so, how would I join all the workstations to the new domain without having to go around and manually do it?<br />

Domain Name Change

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
