Need to start IE when users log in
Hi Experts
I want internet explorer to start when all users login.
Using windows server 2003, AD, DCs, Group policy etc. desktops are XP Pro.
I thought that by adding 'start iexplore' to the bat file indicated as the windows logon file in Group Policy that this would do the trick. If I then login as a user it does indeed do the trick - for a fleeting moment. IE starts but then immediately shuts down. Using such a command in a bat file local to the machine starts IE up fine (and it stays up). Any thoughts on what is happening here, and how best to achive the startup of IE after login would be very much appreciated. Thanks
