I need to find the management software that will allow me to http into my 3COM Super Stack RAS 1500

    You should not need any software to HTTP into a switch to manage it.

    I don't know anything about this switch, but if it is a managed switch you should have a consol port on the back.  You can connect this to your computer via a ethernet to DB9 adapter and hyperterm into it.

    If the switch alredy has an IP address, just go to http(s):\\switchIP.

    also search the 3com site for documentation.

    thank for the comment. It wasn't the config. The modem phone number was being used by something else. Changed the phone line back and it worked perfect.
