Can the sync items folder settings be changed?

I'm running Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003.  Currently our users only have 50 Meg mailboxes.  We would like to get rid of the sync issues folder, or change the settings so that it will stop logging everytime there is a send / receive error.

Is there any way to do this?

I saw this article below

It mentions a Macro you can run to get rid of the sync items.  Is there any way I could get that macro?

    Hi, thomasdw1979.

The only way to turn the logging is to turn off cached mode and connect directly.

Most of our users are offsite.  However I believe I have found a work around.  You can set the AutoArchive feature so that it will permanently delete messages from the sync issues folder that are older then 1 day.  You have to do it for each folder.

Another workaround solution would be to use a script to delete the contents of those folders each time Outlook closes.  You wouldn't have to set it up for each folder, but the script would have to be installed on each computer.  Six of one, a half-dozen of the other.
