I would like to disable Internet Explorer 7 pop up blocker for all users of a machine, with either a registry change or someother feature.

I know you can do it by going tools - pop up blocker - turn off but Im looking more for the registry change current user - software - microsoft - ie - new windows - PopupMgr - no .....

But Im looking for it to work for all users at once and not have to go into each users setup.

Thanks

Greetings TeckBargains !

To turn off Pop-up Blocker:

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.

To configure the full Pop-up Blocker
1.      Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2.      Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_WEBOC_POPUPMANAGEMENT
3.      Double-click Iexplore.exe
4.      To turn off the full Pop-up Blocker, in the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK. Or to turn on the full Pop-up Blocker, in the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.

Changing the registry does not make the change for me, I have to manually go into the menu to make the change

Another solution that worked for me: HKCU\software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\PopupMgr

Change this to yes or no based on what you want
