Can not log on to Windows 2003 server after applying SP2
Hello,
I have a trouble with Windows 2003 server standard edition.
Last night I applied SP2 and update process was successful.
After reboot the server, I can not log on to this server at all.
I have tried to use both local and domain administrator account.
PS: at logon screen I have only field user name and Password ( "log on to field" disappeared)
Do you have any idea?
Best regards

i think the servers domain-membership is corrupt!
You should have an Options box at the logon screen that you can expand and choose whether you want to logon to the domain or server. Do you get any sort of error message when you try to logon?
What is the role of this server (DC, Exchange, member)?

Hi Bluetab,
there is a option button but when I click on that button there is nothing showed.
and this is a member of domain only.

try the following to check if the membership still exsits:
In Unsernamefield type: domainname\Username
In Passwordfield type in the corresponding domainaccount password
