SQL 2000 Databases Disappear in Enterprise Manager
SQL Server 2000 on windows server 2003 SP2. I just installed one windows update last night and upgraded my Computer Associates antivirus on the server. The issue is, none of my databases are showing up in enterprise manager anymore. Applications can still connect fine, but there is no sign of them in enterprise manager. Any ideas?
are u able to see your servername under the registered servers in the left pane

Yes. The server shows up and I can get to the security and replication and other folders within the server. I do get an error that MMC has detected an error in the snap-in when I try to go into management uder the server.
Is there any compatability issues with enterprise manager with MMC 3 being shipped with SP2?

Resolved:
Did a "select * from sysdatabases" in the master database and received an error: Arithmetic overflow error for data type smallint, value 58037. The database with an issue had a status 528.
After taking the problem database offline and bringing it back online then restarting the MSSQLSERVER service, the select query completed without errors and the databases showed up in the EM.
