Open the form, tab until the combo box gets the focus, you will see the cursor flash, then press Alt+DownArrow

Alt+F11 to get to the VB Editor, Help, Answer Wizard, type - Shortcut keys.  Patrick's answer is under:  Global Microsoft Access shortcut keys

Both work.  Thank you both.  It is interesting to me how you guys figured that out.  Did you guess, have a manual, or get lucky?  LOL  :)

Thanks again.

P.S.  although both work I need to award to the F4 suggestion because truthfully, that is what I will probably use.

Oh shoot sorry, I already posted points.  Do you want me to contact customer service for the split?

Thanks GRayL
I was typing when you entered your answer of how to find.

netcepter:  I'm OK with the status quo.  Truth be known, I have several forms with all kinds of controls and having highlighted the combobox with tab, I remember in my distant past a key combination with the down arrow.  I tried a few and bingo!
