1 user receiving multiple copies of same email message

I have an SBS 2003 server that 1 single account is receiving duplicate emails.  This is happening to only 1 user. sometines its 2 or 3 dups and sometimes 10 or more. The messages can be addressed directly to the user or the messages have multiple recpients, it doesnt matter. The user doesnt receive dups all the time is is intermittant. Email is being delivered directly to the server the POP3 connector IS NOT in use.

Thank you

Hi

Some times this happen when you have anti virus installed on the client machine, or antispam.

The client has any?

Some times the forward can do these duplicate emails. The user has it?

Try to configure the email account on a different machine and check if the problem still exists.

Another step:

1. Disable any archival features on the server.
2. Disable antivirus scanning both on the server and on the workstation. (This step should only be temporary as a test. Do not disable it permanently.)
