I have a Dlink DI-624 Router. The server is running Windows 2003 R2. The Clients are XP SP2. No software firewalls involved.<br />

I have already port forwarded the proper ports and enables pptp and ipsec on the router.<br />

The VPN works from the inside howerver I get a 628 error when trying it from outside the network.

Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) is a protocol suite for secure Internet Protocol (IP) communications by authenticating and encrypting each IP packet of a communication session.
