Linux/Unix tool to read VAX arcvhive?

I have some files from the olden-days that are stored in a .ARC file. I know the files originated on a VMS 4.0 system years ago. That system is long gone, but I now have a need to get to some of the files in these archives. Does anyone know of a unix utility that can read these?
