Sometimes I am receiving this error after I finished the exchage2003-SP1 backup  using Symantec Backup Exec 10d. in storage server(NAS).(no type)
"Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00084ca - The data being read from the media is inconsistent.
Final error category: Backup Media Errors

An inconsistency was encountered on the storage media in XXXXmail on NAS.
V-79-57344-33994 - The data being read from the media is inconsistent.
This is the job step Proprties  for the exchange mail backup:
Append to media,overwrite if no appendable.
OpenFileBackup when adnvace open file options is not used WithLock
Any ideas? Thanks

    Thanks,but I'm not using the tape media.
    I do the backup in NAS (Network-Attached Storage ) server.

    Yes  thanks ,backup-to-disk (B2D) folder mean the same as folder in NAS.

    it work fine that error disapear,but new one came:
    Completed status: Failed
    Final error: 0xe00084f4 - An unknown error has occurred.
    Final error category: System Errors
